Does anybody really need a vehicle like this to drive to work, go shopping or even to get to a campground?
I think not.
Although they are the darlings of status-seeking consumers and a major cash cow for the auto industry, these gas-guzzling monstrosities contribute to the degradation of planet Earth on a grand scale. They are over-powered for their use, make an unseemly appeal to the vanity of the people who buy them and most of them -- like this gross Tonka toy -- are butt-ugly.
Do you really need to own a vehicle like this? Think twice about it.. for the sake of the planet.
